Jaime and Angelique from Kindred Studios were kind enough to not only run a clay workshop with us in school (see our blog The Clay Creatives to see the photos and to read about what we did), but also smoke fire our clay pieces back at the studios. You can watch the firing here.
They also gave us tours of their studios , which us located under The Westway so we could see the types of different spaces there were; the projects currently taking place; and meet some of the artists and crafts people, who have a creative space there.
Some of the artists and crafts people allowed us to interview them about their work, enabling us to learn about some of the pros and cons of filming on location.You can watch our video about Kindred Studios below.
